Yoga Zensation: A Therapeutic Yoga Studio

When the practice of yoga and the philosophy of therapeutics are combined, the result is a yoga practice with the intent of both physical and mental self-exploration and the attainment of happiness, health, and prosperity. When you focus on well-being, you'll learn to recognize the potential and limitations of your body, and over time, these concepts will become a comfortable part of your self awareness and drive your interactions with others.

Yoga Zensation provides an environment that allows each student to find self-discipline and self-awareness at their own pace. We maintain an understanding for diversity as each person and each day have different needs. From an athletic detoxing to a full body relaxation, we provide classes that fit your daily needs.

As a therapeutic yoga center each class provides an understanding in physical alignment in postures, greater muscle awareness and attention to breathe techniques. 

We believe that when you feel physically better, so do your mind and spirit.



The Yoga Zensation Therapeutic Philosophy

Zen Stretch - Stretching releases tension and remedies incorrect postures developed due to daily stresses. Being aware of your body and state-of-mind during yoga stretches allows the body to let go of mental anxieties and physical ailments during your practice and eventually in life.

Zen Strength - Strengthening muscles through yoga naturally develops the body to prevent strains and allow for deeper stretches. Often times, muscles are overused or pushed beyond their limit, but with awareness, you can allow the muscles to develop at their own pace. This natural process creates an overall strengthened body, bringing a new awareness to your movements.

Zen Spirit - Spirit, or mentality, is often over looked in exercise regimes. Yoga, however, is considered by many a "moving meditation” or "moving state of awareness.” By concentrating on one point of focus - the breath - during yoga practice, distractions fall away and you become aware of the present moment.
